Gordon R. Brown

Gordon R. Brown was a graduate of Iowa State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Farm Crops and Soils in 1926. Mr Brown also pursued post graduate work at the University of Arkansas. Mr. Brown served as President of Lonoke County Farm Bureau, President of First Electric Cooperative, President of the Lonoke Federal Land Bank Association and Chairman of the Lonoke Development Council. Mr. Brown was a member of the Board of the Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation and a member of the Arkansas State Council on Economic Education. Mr. Brown was one of the “Founding Fathers” of agricultural organizations in Arkansas.
